Before you fit your new number plates, you should remove your old registration plates, and use as a temple for the position of the screw holes.

Lay the old plates face down behind your new plates (so the front of your old plates is against the back of your new plates). 

Mark with a pen, the position of the screw holes on the rear of the new number plates.

Using a good quality, sharp drill bit of an appropriate size, carefully drill through the new number plates from BEHIND . 

Screw your new number plates in position using the original fixings or new fitting kit if purchased.
